Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) is the single largest opportunity you will have to network and interview with local, national, and international school districts. By participating in TRD you have the opportunity to interview with district representatives for real openings.
TRD is two events in one, TRD Erie/Niagara and TRD USA. TRD Erie/Niagara includes only those schools located in Erie or Niagara Counties. All other schools are included in TRD USA.
January 16: Initial list of districts posted
February 5 (9 a.m.) - March 12 (9 a.m.): Online registration
March 5: Confirmation emails sent
March 5-March 11: Erie/Niagara login is available to edit district selections and/or change your resume if needed
March 23: Deadline for TRD Erie/Niagara districts to invite candidates for an interview
April 19: TRD Erie/Niagara
April 19-20: TRD USA
Participants must be able to meet all certification requirements by September 1, 2018 and be:
a currently enrolled bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree candidate or received a degree from one of the participating institutions noted below. Graduate students must have completed a minimum of 6 graduate credit hours by May 30, 2018, if they did not obtain a degree from one of the schools listed.

Erie/Niagara InterviewsInterviews for TRD Erie/Niagara are by pre-selection only. Once you register, the participating districts you select will be able to view your resume, and if they select you, they will contact you to schedule an interview by March 23. You can update your resume and/or change your district selections by logging in between March 5 and March 12. Interviews will take place on Thursday, April 19.
When you register, if you choose TRD USA or both events, you will have the opportunity to schedule interviews with the USA participating districts the morning of Thursday, April 19 (attendance mandatory). The interviews will take place on Thursday, April 19 and Friday, April 20.
